I say YES! It was an exciting season and hopefully will continue with more great games next season. I was impressed with the parity from top to bottom. Looks like Ark. has figured out how to win finally so look out for EVERY team in 2015. Here's to the SEC west!

Could be. Next year looks to be even stronger with a few teams getting even better.

Yes, and Alabama apparently won it in a rebuilding year.

I think this year the SEC West was very strong. I don't think any West team lost OOC games.

I look forward to seeing how they do in the bowl games.

Next year should be exciting as well, although it seems like qb will be a big unknown for lots of teams in the West.

Applies to Arkansas even though we return a 2 year starter.

The most competitive by far, but better teams have been crowned champion in the past. Congrats to bama for doing what you did in a down year, very impressive.

I'll go 2010.

AU, Bama, Lsu, and Arky were all legit top 10 teams.

And MSU wasn't bad

I even think 2011 was better.

LSU, Bama, Arky ranked 1-2-3 going in to the final week of the regular season and MSU wasn't terrible.

Only one borderline elite team, the rest not great. I understand the parity argument with MSU and OM fielding solid teams, but there have to be better years I'd think. Prior to the Oklahoma game last season, we had 2 teams who everyone thought could win the national title.

Why did that upset you? He's right. Any of the last 3 Bama champions, or even 2011 LSU, would be favored against this Bama team. Conversely, though, he was complimenting Bama by pointing out that this Bama team won what was probably the toughest slate overall (as opposed to the toughest at the top) in the history of the SEC-W (and even one of the toughest period, given that no division has had every team bowl-eligible before.)

Not as good at the top that it has been in the past, but definitely better towards the bottom.

Haha what? I just said congrats on winning the conference in a year that was supposed to be a rebuilding year. Too much Bama in this one.

I think the West is down this year. This certainly isn't Nicks best team.

LSU is a mere shadow of their former glory.

Auburn has had better teams over the last decade.

Arkansas blows.

TAMU blows.

Mississippi and MSU are better - they could hardly be worse.

With that said, two improved teams don't upgrade the entire division.
