Not if you are a UGA fan. I thought it was pretty witty...

I don't give a shite about Richt being out coached by Spurrier. Spurrier is the better coach. Nothing new here.

My comment had nothing to do about Richt or Spurrier.

His comment was neither funny nor witty. It was quite the opposite.

And yes I have a sense of humor.

I agree with just about everything you said, but Latti isn't gonna risk another injury and would be dumb not to take his 1st round draft grade and run. For the record I expect Jarvis Jones to do the same. It just wouldn't make sense not to go.

It's worth noting that Jarvis is a redshirt Junior and not a true junior, and was also a transfer. He's got less to come back to then Lattimore does.

According to the record books, Arkansas State had a better record than UGA. ArkST>UGA

This will be the third year in a row that they make a run

I guess if you look at it like that, but let's be real.

'10, in SEC Title game.

No chance of beating that Auburn team, plus it was a weak year in the SEC East. So yeah, they made it, but did you really feel like that was a championship team? (similar to our team from last year)

quote:

'11, best team in East, screwed by schedule.

Eh, debatable, but let's stay on track. Definitely had the tougher schedule, but again, no way they beat LSU.

quote:

'12, currently making a run.

This year I would definitely give them a great shot of beating LSU or Bama out of the West if they make it to Atl.

Losing Latt is no big deal.

I'd have to disagree. That's a once in a decade type of player for USCe and while he doesn't seem fully healthy he's still a top back in the SEC and Spurrier takes full advantage of that.

Who could have guess that this thread would turn into the same old regurgitated argument UGA and USC fans have been having for a year. On the week of the game no less. SHOCKING!

According to the record books we beat y'all at your place. We also went 11-2. Y'all went 10-4. Last year, USC>UGA. You know it.

So are you trying to say Georgia was better than a team they lost to?

I don;t feel USC or UGA were championship caliber in either year, but USC was the best team in East last year.

No debate, UGA does not go to Atlanta if they play the same schedule as USC.

Same as UGA

Disagree, RBs averaging five yards a carry over their careers are a dime a dozen in CFB.

Lattimore planed on being at Carolina until he graduated when he comitted and wants to get his degree. With him just now getting back to top form after his injury I think he will stay for another year. With his reduced production last year and the first part of this year he won't be as attractive to NFL teams. If he finishes this year at the levels he played before his injury, and is lights out next year he would greatly improve his draft status. That's my main reasoning as to why he will return.

At that same point in the year LSU had a win over AL too. Who was better?

This is all a bunch of crap anyway - after Saturday its a moot point. Play the damn game.

Also, Lattimore would be crazy to stay his Sr season IMO.

All they had to do was beat the youngest Auburn team ever at home and they would have won the East.

The discussion is about the record in the SEC...as in who gets to go to the title game.

Try to keep up.

I get all of that, its what every kid says when he signs his LOI. "I want to be here and graduate; I want to get my degree"

We hear it every year. AJ Green stated he had no plans to leave within months of his announcement.
Even Orson Charles left with a 3rd round grade after saying that he wanted to play his entire college career with his high school teammate Aaron Murray.

When kids actually see the financial ramifications of a decision to turn pro; it changes things. It is what it is. If Lattimore does in fact return, congrats to him on his decision. But shear odds say he will go.
