They aren't, made the tournament last year.. The name makes it sound worse than it is. But the fact is, AU blew a 16 point lead within 8 minutes.
But hey, at least they're scoring points this year.

thats one of the things that people dont get. You look at the top 25 in bb and you see some teams you have never even heard of before lol

I know, we played them in the tourney last season. Beat them 79-47.

I just got back. That was the worst coaching job I've ever seen. When a team is hitting more than half their 3s, you don't sit in a zone while they do it. What did Barbee say? I missed it.

Northwestern State isn't even remotely comparable to VCU.
Northwestern State is in the Southland Conference. That's a small step up from the SWAC. Every SEC team should be able to beat them.

That was their first win over an SEC school. I really believe Barbee would have been gone after last year. We had to pay our entire football and baseball staff's buy-out though. That is the only thing that saved Barbee, IMO. He will be looking for a job after this season. I feel very confident in saying that.
