Kenny Rogers attended MSU but acting like he was an agent for state is stupid. He got players to many schools, off the top of my head, Schaeffer to Tenn. and later UM. He in no way represented MSU's interests, only his own, with every recruit he dealt with.

That's not what I said. We had one former booster ALLEGEDLY tried to solicit money from another one. Bond reported it. Cam did not sign with us.

What I am saying is that why should a former player, who had not had contact with the University since he graduated, get to be the be all/end all in this story?

MSU had a former player (Rogers) acting as an agent for MSU to get a player to sign on with MSU. He knew who the bagman was and went as far as to set up an installment plan with the bagman which just happened to also be a former MSU player (Bell) ~ Another former MSU player was contacted (Bond) and he did the right thing and notified the proper authorities.

Nah ~ this is nothing the NCAA would feel the need to look into....

Logan Young acted as an agent for Alabama in the Albert Means recruiting scandal.

He ended up with a five iron in his head in his home in Memphis

But do all interviews lead to investigations?.... the answer is no.

You're reaching here. The already established link goes from Rogers to Cecil. Where else does it go? Again, Cam didn't come to MSU.

It doesn't matter if he came to MSU or not.

Did Rogers also call Bell (former MSU player) to get the financing together for Schaeffer?

Now, I do agree with you that Rogers was representing his own interests, most all agents have that angle.

But, it's interesting that Rogers knew who to contact for the money.

I lol at this. So if someone you knew 30 years ago asks you for money, it turns out he wanted to do something illegal with it and gets busted, you are the "bagman?" Even though you never agreed to give him money. That's absurd.

So your next job interview, is it a result of a company doing a comprehensive background investigation on you?

now you're reaching......

We're talking about an alleged FBI investigation and you're assimilating it to your job interview at McD's?

Couple that with the fact that Rogers tried to solicit money from State and you have two perfectly good reasons to start an investigation.

So the guy that you say was "working for State" was having to solicit money for the player?

Yeahhhhhhhh, that makes sense. If he was "working for State", there would have never been a problem in the first place. And we would have been 11-1 last year
