Auburn has only themselves to blame for not getting in the BCSNCG. The Citadel is a powerhouse and so were the rest of their non-conference opponents.

I think Oklahoma would have a greater claim than AU does.

I can't remember who backed out of that game at the last moment that forced us to schedule the Citadel but our hands were tied with that decision.

Titles are awarded after the season ends, not during.

I might have a problem with how they arrived at 1 and 2 to play in that game...but it happened. I think it was a raw deal, but we should absolutely not claim that title...ever.
