Well you watched A&M destroy SC right? Then SC beat UGA. With the small sample size to date and the fact Vandy is terrible I am going to say yes.

Let's put it this way Chase. State would have won the East at least two times in the last 5 years.

Let's not get crazy here.

A&M over USC aside, I think it's way too early to tell. Right now I almost kinda sorta agree with the rest of the SEC-hating country: the SEC plays plenty of tough teams in the SEC who play all those other tough SEC teams, who MUST be good because they're in the SEC. Or something. I actually DO believe the SEC is that tough and the SECw in particular, but until more games are played it's just a crap shoot.

So you're saying a team that barely beat West Virginia and a team that escaped Wisconsin and should have honestly lost has no chance to lose to the SC, Georgia or Mizzou.

So sick of hearing shite like this. YOU line up and play a hyped matchup at a neutral site against a team who has been preparing all offseason for you. All Wisky had to do was beat us and it was downhill for them with a shot at the playoff. That game was their season.

Yet we had a bunch of freshmen go out there and grow up on the national stage.

I hate Bama, but same for them. A huge question mark at qb against a foe that ALWAYS brings it for the SEC.

First game of the season where anything can happen and BOTH teams got the W. Speaks to just how good they are even when not at their prime. Both those teams are getting better each week and will be SEC Goliaths as always by the time they face off. Meanwhile, Georgia will continue to be Charlie Brown, flip a coin for which Spurrier team shows up, Florida... nope. Good news is Mizzou will probably win the division again this year.

Good luck against..... Indiana.

At this time, no doubt. UT and UF are down. May shift in a couple of years.

You're still holding on to your Big-12 talking points. The SEC has some marquee OOC wins, probably more impressive than any other conference, yet nobody acknowledges those for some reason.

At least our AP#9 ranked team didn't lose to Boston freaking College.

Auburn could lose to K-State, but that would be to a Top 20 team on the road.

Yes the west is that much better. You have 5 sec west teams that could beat any team in the country(Bama, LSU, Auburn, A&M, and ole miss). The east has , maybe 3 ( UGA and South Carolina, and UF)

LSU still has a lot to prove. With the teams they have played the defense has a lot to show. A road trip to Auburn will tell us what we need to know. Not discounting them but I don't find Wisconsin to be an actual contender here.

I don't know if Florida could really contest anyone in the country. After this weekend we should know that. Ole Miss also looked squeamish against Boise State so I'm not a believer there either. Texas A&M is one of those teams that often only does well if their system can match up well. Unlike an Alabama or LSU that will consistently beat almost everyone else they haven't proven much. Although a beatdown of the Gamecocks in Williams-Brice certainly looks good.

Not really, but I probably AM feeling guilty over A&M's OOC schedule. For me UT is the only school that gets a total pass on this - they're all the time playing top teams from wherever. And whether it's good luck or bad, they always seem to schedule them when they're pretty damn good. WVU and Wisconsin on paper were damn good opponents, though. Same with KSU, but Auburn will kill them.

shite. Now that I typed that it sounds more like I'm shy about A&M. I possibly need to drink more. Thanks for attempting to straighten me out .
