I haven't watched a single bowl game yet and will probably only watch 3, and at most 4, of them.

I have a very good friend on the Sugar Bowl committee. I can assure you that the Sugar Bowl did not want any part of Florida. Everyone in New Orleans was rooting hard for FSU to beat Florida so that they would not have to invite them.

Your friend wear purple and gold underwear? Then of course he wanted us to lose. Is he going to Hotlanta? There are tons of rooms in Atlanta metro area that are empty too my feline friend.

I like the bowls but not the tie ins and auto qualification process.

One day we will have a 16 team playoff and I will be happy.

According to NOLA.com, of an allotment of 17,500 tickets per team, Louisville had sold more than 14,000 tickets while the Gators had sold about only 6,500. That number was as of Friday, December 14.

It doesn't help that tickets are a lot cheaper on Stubhub than through the school.

i feel like i got shite earlier this year for saying something like this. and that for all their success UF has an enormous fair weather contingent. but i mean they totally do.

All of that success is pretty recent though, we don't exactly have decades and decades of tradition like a lot of other programs in the conference.

Well the buttsniffers sure did well last year against the weakazz Big 10...you let Meatchicken State punk your sorry carcass....since Nebraska bent over and took 70 points in their butts....you better not embarass the SEC again.
Of course I will pull for UGA since it is in the SEC...but wont cry too much if you drop your pants in Orlando.

You LSU kittens that still have that sore throat from the UF game...how many of you are going to Hotlanta? Thats what I thought. UF has huge crowds in the Swamp, we traveled well to Fiesta and NOLA in the past...but this cluster of a game is the pits..the SEC should be fit to be tied, but Slive will pet his poodle named Nickie and nod off to sleep before the game starts.

To be totally fair, the SB is on a Wed nite & after the holiday season that most employers give their employees off for, so that makes it difficult for any long distance travel plans. But the SB committee is almost all Tulane alums, so I have no sympathy for any of those losers or what happens to their game. They sold out football fans by their chickenshit team selection last yr, had a stadium 34/ full, mabe. As Oscar Wilde put it, "what goes around comes around".

..................there are probably enough hotel rooms in the Atlanta area to fill up the Georgia dome twice.

That was GT's excuse for the '10 Orange Bowl...

Definitely. Fortunate enough to watch Arizona/Nevada and BSU/UW. Both really good games with great finishes.

The Chick-fil-A Bowl is a sellout for the 16th consecutive year. The streak of sellouts is second only to the Rose Bowl. During the span of sellouts, the average attendance has been 72,126

The bowl said Monday it has sold all its tickets for the Dec. 31 game between No. 9 Louisiana State and No. 14 Clemson at the Georgia Dome.

The game annually matches teams from the Southeastern Conference and Atlantic Coast Conference.

One day we will have a 16 team playoff and the only sport where the regular season still has meaning will be ruined."
