"I've heard the SEC office is full of Updykes"

And I've heard that UT-Austin is full of bulldykes.

"Mark Womack, Executive Associate Commissioner, is in charge of scheduling. He grew up in Tuscaloosa and is a Bama grad."

I guess that's why nearly every SEC opponent had an off week against Alabama a few years ago, and had been the case for a while.

It is truly unreal. I can't believe this is going on or the vitriol involved in the responses. Once the answer came and it was in Bama's favor, I was satisfied, even though I am no Bama fan.

The only good that might come out of this is that I the accusation gets thrown around again by someone coming I've from the Tiger Rant, this will be remembered. So, perhaps all of the mocking and ridicule I have endured for asking a simple question will be, in the end, for a good cause.

most accusations are nothing but jelly fans of the team that loses in the end. Who takes them serious and who really cares. Like an internet bully..Do they really scare anyone when they do internet bullying

Hey... Maybe someone here can give me an honest answer. People keep saying that the government brainwashes us with contrails and seeded clouds. They said they do it regardless of whether or not it's democrats or republicans in control and it's done so that there isn't anarchy and that our human spirit is destroyed. I've always just believed them and assumed it was true, but now I'm thinking maybe it isn't.

Will someone who's a democrat or a republican tell me if it's true?

Thanks!!!

Have you even acknowledged the posts earlier that disproves the theory that the SEC office is all Bama grads or fans?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, to be honest, there's one helluva lot more people who work in the SEC offices than the Commissioner and other executives.

And we all know that the most powerful people in government aren't Presidents, Senators, Reps, or department Secretaries, but the host of anonymous bureaucrats under them who implement and enforce everything.

spoken by a true Auburn fan! That may be one of the dumbest posts I've ever read. Do you honestly believe that there are lobbyists in the SEC office?

I dont think that the government "brainwashes" the people but there is information that the government withholds from the people to keep order and assert their power over the people.

It isn't quite the same because I couldn't google a concrete answer myself.

Also, I don't think we've been given mind control drugs in contrails and seeded clouds.

In your case, it is likely true. I would actually count on it. Go with that and respond accordingly.

My question was not whether or not Bama grads/fans were fixing games, altering schedules, whatever. My question involved whether or not more Bama grads/fans worked in the SEC offices than reps from other schools. Several things led me to believe this:

1. The SEC Office is in Birmingham, ALABAMA. So, it seemed reasonable that a larger number of people from ALABAMA than from other states would work there. Birmingham is a UA city and the vast majority of people in Alabama are UA fans, so . . .

2. Alabama grads/fans seem to really not just like the sport of college football, but also involve themselves in the business of college football. It made sense that people who grew up as Crimson Tide fans would have a higher aspiration to work for the SEC, since Alabama football is such a big deal in this state.

3. It has been asserted repeatedly for some time now and no Bama fan ever refuted it. I saw lots of mocking and derision, but that happens almost every time a Bama fan posts here, so I pretty much ignored it.

I have kept engaging with this thread because it truly was NOT a troll attempt. It was a stab at clarification. People like you are unable to see that. I do my fair share of trolling from time to time when I can think of a good one. This was not one of those times, so I want to set the record straight.

For one, I am glad that this thread has gone on record on the SEC Rant so we can put this matter to rest. I LIKE that LSU plays a tough schedule - tougher than Alabama every year. LSU is in good shape and will have more championships in the future. I think that you just line up and play whoever you face every week and my favorite season ever was 2011 when LSU played the toughest schedule in the history of college football. So, there are no tears of mine to taste.

Bring it on.

No doubt. Or else he thought he knew the answer and the thread didn't go as planned.

I think that I didn't.

I am laughing now because of how sensitive and paranoid Bama fans are though. That is what I got out of this thread. As soon as I got the actual answer, I thanked the person who gave it to me and was ready to move on. No questions asked.

You people are hilarious.

Why do Alabama fans have to refute it? Why not just look it up yourself?
