I would like to see Verne replaced with anybody who won't yell "Oh, no!" when LSU completes a long pass against Alabama.

nessler/blackledge are the best team out there 
verne, needs to retire. got no issues with gary, hes pretty good, so i'm good with him staying.
as for a replacement for verne? basically anybody except beth mowins or any other woman for that matter. jim nance would be ok.

Pair Brando with Paul Fineberg ( I know he's at ESPN) so the Gumps will have an announcer who swallows for them. That is why they hate Brando because he was a Baton Rouge reporter before he got the national gig so he doesn't drool over the Gumps and actually calls things fairly.

He does the same against Auburn...... "Oh No" was definitely sounded on the 109 yard return....

Actually I heard the SEC Network is hiring Verne, Keith Jackson and Lou Holtz to do the games next year, with Cher and Lee Merriweather to do sideline reporting.

Gary struggles at times because he's trying to correct Verne the whole time.
Verne is so freaking senile or old or confused that Gary has to cover for his idiocy during the broadcast.
