herp derp, if they do, it will be because Jake Long won't be there much longer.

I heard they were comparing Robinson to Orlando Pace, said he has that kind of abilities or potential.

NFL Network guys were saying that.

I didn't watch ESPN. Apparently Gruden said some not so kind things. EVERY draft rating I saw had GRob as the best OL in the draft, and EVERY talking head had him going #2 to the Rams. It was as well kept a secret as Clowney to the Texans.

Robinson is overrated...he holds on nearly every play.

You must be confused, Robinson played for Auburn not Alabama

Why are Auburn fans clinging to this so badly?

A former LSU player went to Auburn and is now a 1st round pick.

We fricking get it.

wat?

quote:

Drawing comparisons to Hall of Famer Willie Roaf and seven-time Pro Bowl selection Orlando Pace, Robinson is a physical marvel who should make an instant impact as a road-grading run blocker.

With left tackle Jake Long on schedule to return for training camp, Robinson will likely be ticketed for the right side.

Where are you hearing left guard?

Collins had a dog shite oline coach for 3 years. Robinson flourished because of coaching.

There is a reason this has been trolled so much, and it starts with LSU fans

Yeah, I dunno why but it seemed like he had it out for GRob. Just about every highlight they showed Gruden was talking about how "the professional referees in the NFL will call that holding every time..."

Yet later in the night when JuWan James was picked and his highlights showed him doing the same thing...crickets.

He has to take a pay cut in the pros.

Schefter announced that was the Rams plan right after they drafted him. Do you even ESPN, bro?

Jake Long has one year left on his deal, and then Greg Robinson is taking over for him. The St. Louis Rams are playing it smart and trying to get all the best offensive linemen on the field at once. Plus, Greg Robinson is a much better athlete and can transition to left guard easier, which is another reason he will start there.

Not bad for a guy that won't go in the 1st round, huh?

Why would a left guard replace a left tackle?

Like I said, they're trying to get all of the best players on the field. Jake Long can't fit anywhere else, especially not left guard. Greg Robinson is a good enough athlete to... Once Jake Long is gone, Greg Robinson slides over to left tackle and the rest is history. It's pretty simple.
