Anyone thay is counting Bama and Saban out is kidding themselves. I agree I like to see the gumps squirm and cry because they are delusional, but saban an isn't a Bobby B or Joe Pa. he won't hang around and get his shite pushed in after his prime. He still has it and as long as he is there, they will be a force with a blown year here or there. And by blown, I mean 10-2. With Tua they win that game sat and are back dooring into the playoff.

Teams in the SEC not named Alabama need to nut up and actually win something of note. It's been 4 national championships later since a team not named Bama has won a national championship.

Next year is a rebuilding year. If Saban doesn’t retire after this season he will after next year’s 10-3 or 9-4 campaign.

You made fun of Malzahn for only beating Alabama, but that is literally the only thing Coach Oregon has accomplished at LSU

Latest example.

Pretending to be a Clemson fan must be blasty blast. Keep fighting the good fight.

Because I assume every thread bashing Bama is by an LSU fan who is still in shock from finally beating them. Sorry

Done winning championships every other year? Probably so.

Done being an elite team? Not a chance.

Yes and no. Them being a top team and contender, heck no... them being completely dominant over the rest of the league like they basically were for years.. absolutely yes.

10-2 guys, both losses by 1 score to a highly ranked team.

Stories of Bamas demise have been greatly exaggerated. Will they go to 4 straight playoffs again starting next year? Unlikely, but to think they will become A&M all of a sudden is foolish.

Alabama had a 7-year run as, clearly, the best football program in America. Sure, they didn't win the title every year, but you knew that they'd be back. And seven years is an impressive run, and Bama fans should be proud to have dominated college football for seven years.

But it ended with last year's national title game, and the two losses this year just confirmed that to everyone who couldn't see it the first time.

And Alabama could still win another title in the next few years -- it doesn't appear as though another school is ready to replace Bama as the undisputed king of college football, no matter who wins this year.

But the Saban reign is over. No one is afraid of Alabama anymore. And, yes, other schools, especially LSU and Clemson, are out-recruiting Bama.

As long as Saban is there bama will be a national championship contender.

Bama has made the playoffs every single year since it started. They haven’t lost 2 regular season games since 2010, that’s incredible.

The dynasty is definitely over, but as I said, they’re contenders every year. It was probably the greatest run ever in college football.

LOL- your O-Line is screwed after this year. Losing four seniors. Good luck. Y’all better win this year.

Maybe but I think there is some overreaction to losing to two very good teams by a total of eight points. Next year will help me determine. They are returning a lot of defensive players and the offense returns a lot of experienced players as well even though they weren’t necessarily starters this year. If we return the bulk of our OL and get one of the WR to stay along with Waddle who returns I like our chances. If all of that happens and Bama doesn’t get to playoffs then I’d say yes the decline has definitely begun.
