Bama needs to win the national title or else the SEC is going to lose a ton of street cred. That would be 2 years in a row without a NC and a very mediocre record against Big 5 non conference teams.

Indiana's not bowl eligible, so we should have no trouble winning ours.

Those are great accomplishments, but what does that have to do with sucking at every sport except baseball and table tennis

They are projecting Tigers to play Wisconsin or Iowa

Just for perspective sake...

Wisconsin (10-2,7-1), lost 2 games by 5 point average
Iowa (7-5, 4-4), beat Indiana 45-29
Indiana (4-8, 1-7), 2nd worst team in the B1G

Agreed, and that alone is worth having them.

Incorrect, M & W Basketball and Bowling certainly should be added to your list

If no other reason here is the kicker for Vanderbilt. They are the only private school in the conference and because of the the SEC is also afforded private protection. If the SEC were a collective of just public / state schools the conference would have no protection from FOIA requests and other such things.

Did you ever stop and wonder why all the Power 5 conferences have at least 1 private school amongst them?

Iowa lost to Minnesota who lost to Illinois who lost to Purdue who lost to Indiana.

Like I say, we got this.

For the first time in four seasons, the SEC won't have four 11-win teams. It very easily could have only one. Alabama is 11-1. Missouri and Mississippi State are 10-2.

The best running backs in the FBS play in the Big Ten. The best quarterbacks are in the Pac-12. So are the best defensive linemen. The ACC skunked the SEC East 4-0 last Saturday. The Big 12 is the only conference with a chance of putting two teams in the playoff...
