Yea, that was a shite ton of runs y'all put up. I didn't watch the game. Was it great hitting, shitting pitching or a combination of both. Would love for y'all to make it back to Omaha. I hate UNC.

SCar was stroking the ball man. Plus their starter was lights out. They're looking good.

The SEC is a bit overrated in baseball honestly. LSU, South Carolina, and Georgia are the only teams to ever win a title. Mizzou wasn't in the SEC so don't give me that shite. All of the titles have come in the last 30 years.

Not as overrated as the ACC though.

What the frick is the answer?

I think the answer is no, and I'll use math to help you realize that.

The tournament starts with 64 teams.

9 SEC teams made the tournament.

16 teams were eliminated today, including 1 SEC team, (Thanks for the F Shack, Florida)

So 8 of the Top 48 teams are SEC teams.

Of those 8 SEC Teams, 4 are not facing elimination tomorrow (USC, LSU, Vandy, Miss St.) That's the most out of all the other conferences.

The next round is the Super Regional, which is essentially a Sweet 16. Right now 4 SEC teams are in great position, and even if half of the other still eligible SEC teams make it, we'll have 5-6 SEC teams in the Super's.

So, NO, the SEC is not overrated. We in fact dominate NCAA Baseball, b/c we have more teams still competing in the post season.

I thought 9 SEC teams made it. Which would mean 8 of the 48 left. 4 teams are 2-0 in the driver seat?

Bama, Ark, Miss, Miss State, aTm, LSU, USC, UF, FL.

You're right, I keep forgetting to count Ark, b/c they can't hit.

They don't need to hit as long as Stanek pitches.

Yeah, he's pretty good, but he pitched tonight, and they have to win 2 games tomorrow. It doesn't look good for them.

I would not be upset if they get beat, even though I picked them to make Omaha. I want LSU to play UVA, but if UVA and Arky make Omaha, they meet game one which is likely a sure win for Arky(assuming Stanek pitches)

If anyone has the pitching depth to come back in this situation, it's Arkansas. Now the offense? Crap shoot.

I can't be impressed by Ark's mid week guys, those are the guys who lost all of the early season games to nobody's. Kansas St doesn't have awesome pitching, but I bet their 4th or 5th best pitcher will be able to hold off Ark's 5th or 6th, b/c they'll also put up more runs. Kansas St is hitting the ball really well now, as they've done for most of the season.

Troll. Go be a fan of a Big East or Big Ten school if you don't like baseball. It's kind of popular in the SEC.

I'd personally be embarassed if i didn't watch/know baseball.

Football will always be my #1, but baseball is classic/historic. Baseball is what most people in this country grow up watching/playing.
