It's not WHAT he's been saying. It's how he tried to railroad his wants through a committee in a devious way, lying about the committee "inviting" him, seeking rules changes under false pretenses, wanting rule changes that would benefit a very small amount of people but would make his job easier.
You act like there are no other thinking coaches in college football. If this had been a good idea, he would not be alone with only a couple of toadies backing him.

He didn't try to back door anything. They asked for his opinion, he gave it. He has been talking about the negatives of the play clock rules changes in 2008 ever since it happened.

It has to be. Entire media and coaches all across the country are blasting him for his cowardice. Jim Rome, Cowherd, Spurrier, Clay Travis, even Chokelahoma's assistant coach.
Saban is on a 2 game losing streak. He'll be even more rustled and lose his mind when the losses keep piling up. Bama's #tdecline starts in 2014.
Just means he will bust hell wide open to get his players & coaches prepared and ready to go for the new season.

No idea how you are still around.
Why would Saban be upset? He makes millions of dollars each year and is a very successful coach. I highly doubt he is really upset over this issue. I think he has done a nice job of manipulating the system, and will still likely get a compromise, which is all he was really looking for in the first place.
