I don't like doing comparisons of really good coaches. That being said, I'll take Saban over Meyer.

There's no question on who the top two are. But who is #1 out of the two? I'd give the slight edge to Meyer.

- 3 National Championships

- 2 undefeated seasons at different schools that didn't result in a national title

Saban

- 4 National Championships

- not including this year, yet, but 7 straight seasons of achieving a #1 ranking


Hell, toss up for all I care.

Saban didn't do that at LSU or Bama in year 1. He'll have Michigan in the playoffs within the next 3 years. Urban is just as good, and stoops is not far behind


He's die a great job, but let's not pretend that Michigan would be 7-2 if they were in the west.
