Always. Next it will be that Bama is telling the players to enter the draft because they are not wanted anymore.

ou really believe there wasn't another job for him before he signed with Alabama?

If there was a HC job he'd have taken it. If there was a P5 OC job he wasn't mentioned for it publicly anywhere. None of his connections were in roles to hire him at the time. He'd been burned (while burning his own bridges in some areas).

$680K in 2014 and 2015.

Wrong as usual. Before this year Alabama was paying him $714,000, which landed him between 31-35 highest paid assistants.

And, no...no one was touching Lane when Alabama hired him.

They actually have done that a couple times i.e. Vinnie Sunseri and Glen Coffee. The main reason why Coffee entered the draft after his junior year is because Saban told him that he would likely lose his starting RB job to Ingram and his playing time would be greatly reduced. Coffee never wanted to leave early to go to the NFL.

Al Davis says "I told you so" from the grave. Pat Hayden is smiling this morning as well.

Try this on for size. Aside from Bo Davis (which was NCAA related), Saban has never fired an assistant at Alabama. You think Texas stole Applewhite to take a demotion as RBs coach. Or Michigan stole Nussmeier?

Link?

There is no proof at all that Kiffin was told to find another job. That is something that is made up.

He had kirby for like 12 or 15 years total at various stops, hes had burton burns, best rb coach in college football, for his whole tenure at bama when tons of programs would love to snap him up. People come back to work for him multiple times who have moved on to other places. I think of your head coach is not a demanding perfectionist you probably are not going to be winning championships

The fall of the Saban empire is near. Orgeron has navigated the coordinator hires masterfully. Kiffin knew what was coming.

Well hell, he told a few players to come back for their final year and not enter the draft and Tim Williams/Ryan Anderson/OJ Howard/Eddie Jackson/Jon Allen wrecked shite in the SEC this season.
