I have only been around him a few times but he kind of strikes me as a shy man and that can come off as rude when you are such a public figure. Also, I think his huge success is a result of his enormous fear of failure.

Coach Saban is probably a very genuine man.

He packed in a full hour every Sunday in BR @ SAS. Does T-town not have any Catholic churches?

And the most focused individual that I have ever met. Singleness of purpose defined.

He's egotistical, and, he's a douche. But an egotistical douche? Now, that's going too far.

Nick Saban is a winner. That's all that really matters in the job he is paid to do. He wins.

I remember asking Brad Lawing one time, on the golf course, what it was like to work for Saban up at Michigan State and he said, "demanding, but fair. Accepts no excuses. Expects you to give it your all. A workaholic. ... and you had better not lie to him or you are gone."

I respect a man like that. Saban is a winner.

I worked with a an old electrician that was one of the best at his profession. He was honory, angry, and if it wasn't about the electrical field he wasn't interested and really couldn't relate to anything outside of that. If you couldn't think like him or were not as gifted as him he didn't have time for you. I hated working with him, but I was 22 at the time. No that I am 38 I see him in a completely different light. I wish I had that focus and ability to push other things aside that aren't doin anything but distracting you from your goal.

Maybe it was because he had so much pride in his gums that he found his teeth unnecessary and had them removed. Such hubris.

We were wrong.

I seem to remember the same kind of comments out of Bama about Dubose after 1999. Except after 2010, Auburn had more reason to believe that shite than Bama after 1999.

Its called being caught up in being a fan. It happens.

Well, Auburn seems to hire a lot of coaches that go undefeated.

How does that work out at your place?
