I don't follow Alabama as close as tide fans do obviously so I'm really asking them, but it just seems like this season he's been quicker to get pissed off than in years past. It seems like he was much more mellow 3-4 years ago. I may be off base though, looking for opinions.

Saban recently stated that the biggest mistake of his life was leaving Red Stick. He said that the many seemingly developmentally disabled LSU fans were like his special children and he feels like he abandoned his children.

Moreover, he also stated that by leaving Miami to coach at Alabama, he knew in his heart that he had somehow betrayed his special children because most coaches only ever have one job.

You could tell by his body language that he was sorrowful and repentant.

Due to these reasons, in this interview, Saban let it be known that he was unusually angry a lot of the time and things were wearing on him.

What really surprised me were his parting words wherein he said that if he could marry each and every LSU fan, he would, because he loved them and always would.

That blew my fricking mind.
