Ole Miss is either the best or second best team in the SEC. We will find out which one late Saturday night.

I think so but we will definitely know Saturday. If they win at BDS I'm buying stock. Not looking forward to seeing them in the Swamp

Will just depend on injuries, can we get Tunsil back, and whether or not our school is truly cursed. This is the year we need to win the west of we're gonna do it. Time to sack up.

I feel quite confident that Ole Miss would destroy Wisconsin by 30 plus points, so it evens out I reckon. You never answered my question, so I will ask again...would you agree that Bama hasn't faced anything close to an offense as potent as Ole Miss this season?

... maybe? Wisconsin rolled Miami, OH 58-0. I'd say they're at least as good as anyone Ole Miss has faced.

We beat you last year and our only question with that quarterback. It looks like our quarterback position is actually an upgrade. Every other position is returning the guys that played last year. So considering the Ole Miss team from last year we haven't missed a beat coming into this year. REC should be skeered.

How many plays did Tunsil sit out last year?

I have watched both OM games and they could have easily scored over 100 points both times. They have had their back-up QBs under center in the second quarter in both games.

Swag Kelly was in for most of the 3Q vs Fresno.

Gump logic. Way too early in the season to make this kind of statement. If they beat you at home on Saturday, they're legit in my book. But no bearing on how they end up ranked in the SEC at season's end.

Silly question to ask whether OM is legit. With their NFL talent, of course they are. The main question was whether Kelly was legit. What I have viewed in watching Kelly thus far is that he has a cannon for an arm, a lighting quick release and the ability to make every type of pass to his NFL receivers.

OM may lose a hyped up night game where the team will be under tremendous pressure, but no question the Rebels are legit.

With back ups. We had 136 plays between the 2 games. Kelly played 46 of them. 46 plays, 603 yards, 8 td of total offense. I don't care if you are playing against air, its hard to do that.

Ole Miss has to stay healthy. There first 22 are legit, but the back ups not so much.

Oline and Dline...same as it has been since the beginning of time for Ole Miss. QB also.

Admittedly thin on OL, especially if Tunsil doesn't play. DL is stout though. Our backup DTs might well be starters on half the teams in the SEC.

I hope OM is legit. The west looks shaky right now.

I do think they are, but a road game at BDS is a tall order even if they are the better team.

Do I think we are good and can compete in any game? Yes. Have we looked better than I thought so far this year? Yes. But I realize the level of competition so far so I'm not straying to far out there and saying we will win the West. Yes the offense has looked great and Kelly was 7 for 7 for touchdown drives last week. I will hold off pounding the chest and declaring the West until I see us play SEC competition, or after this week. The play so far gives me great hope, the offense can't look any better, don't care if you play against a high school team. Defense has been pretty good, could be better but maybe that was cause of focus due to level of competition. It will be fun Saturday and I just hope for a 4th quarter finish. Win or lose for either team does not hurts their chances for the playoffs, I don't think. Will be a tough environment to win in most definitely.
