He looked like it his freshman year. He seems to have the size, speed, hands, and route running ability. Then he disappeared for two seasons.

And then last night he has a 200 yd MVP performance. How much did he get himself paid with that game?

No, not physical enough and struggles with blocking at times.

He'd be a decent TE/WR hybrid lining up in the slot.

He's generally soft. I'd have my reservations.
But he did well last night.

I thought him returning next year was a certainty before last night. He may have jumped a round after that killer job last night though. He should probably just go, because between Ridley, Stewart, and a healthy Foster there won't be many targets for him next year.

Without a doubt. Every NFL scout has said the same. He's the the perfect example of the "modern" tightend.

Most definitely. He's going to have to fine tune his game and toughen up, but NFL teams are probably foaming at the mouth over his measurable a.

Not as much as I expect his combine will get him paid.

Any idea what he runs? Seems like he could make a nice tall WR. He ran away from DBs last night

I was down on that kid after I saw him get beat by that 5 foot 8 kid from Ole Miss to cost them the game last year.

But he certainly redeemed himself last night.

He looked like he was shot out of a cannon on that long 3rd down play last night. Faster than most WR.

I don't think he was featured at Bama like he could have been. If he goes to a NFL team that features the TE he will be a stud.

Yes. If the Texans drafted him in the 2nd or 3rd, I'd be very excited. I think he is underrated as a blocker.

I think so, he has improved by leaps and bounds as a blocker , was one of the top in the nation per PFF. A great improvement considering his background was as a HS gadget player for a low classification private school.

His route running has been scrutinized, but his usage could play a huge part.

He might light up the Combine like Rob Housler, but has to prove he's not a stiff player like Housler.
