A few years back Mizzou backed out of a home and home with Iowa, when Iowa was pretty good and replaced them with Arkansas St. Mizzou had scheduled it, when Iowa was down, but chickened out.
They did pay a small penalty, but it left Iowa scrambling for a replacement game.
"Chickened out"
Iowa refused to play Missouri for 8 decades.

The last two times A&M traveled to Fayetteville we walked away victorious.

Real SEC teams don't travel to travel to Sun Belt schools.
If my memory serves me correctly, they also went on the road to play Troy State a few years ago.

There's no reason to play them. It's like fighting a girl. If you win, you've accomplished nothing. If you lose you never hear the end of it.
It also doesn't bring any money to the state and it doesn't give us any recruiting exposure.

But in this case that "girl" is Ronda Rousey, and the piggies are scared that when she lands a punch it will be lights out.

That's a risk you take with every cupcake game. But there are advantages like bringing money to the state or increasing exposure in a recruiting hotbed. Playing Arkansas State does neither for us.
There are only 12 regular season games. It's pointless to waste one of them on a game that offers no advantages.
But by all means, keep playing "tFear" card

I will be very honest with you, I am a Mizzou fan but I went to school in Jonesboro and am a season ticket holder there. We would much rather play a relevant SEC team than you guys. There was a time when the game would have benefited the program but that time has passed and stAte can do better than the piggies. Missouri this year, Miami soon and hopefully some more good home and homes in the future.

Yes, it's funny...the further you get away from Missouri the shittier Arkansas gets.
Yeah but that has more to do with getting closer to Louisiana than it does getting further from Missouri.
Edit: damn, someone beat me to it.

You all have averaged 1.3 conference wins per season since we have joined this great conference.
Thats a lot of asterisks and excuses.
Congrats, you guys have owned us recently, along with everyone else. Unforunately for you, that script has been flipped and Mizzou will be waiting a while for another win in Fayetteville

You just never know when you're gonna get manhandled by a sorry arse team when every person in the country knows absolutely with out a doubt you'll win, amiright?
