So Sherman took someone else's WR recruit and turned him into a first round QB selection? Sounds like tGOAT to me.

He got drafted and was still pretty raw, that's why he's improved so much each year. He's an incredible athlete and very bright, he just doesn't have the gamer/clutch gene

Because of injuries and the whole not taking the shot when his shoulder was injured really hurt James Franklin's reputation amongst Mizzou fans. However, I'm pretty sure he is still third ALL-TIME in passing yards, and would have probably surpassed Brad Smith had it not been for injury. Dude was lighting it up before getting hurt in 2013.

IMO, one of Mizzou's most under-appreciated players of the last decade.

If NFL success is considered, it's Bama .

Bart Starr won 5 NFL championships, including the 1st two Super Bowls, in which he was the MVP of both.

Joe Namath won a SB and was the MVP as well as making a huge impact on pro football.

Kenny Stabler had a great career with the Raiders and also won a SB. Was one of the best cluch QB's ever and a naster of the two minute drill.

Nope. All of their good QBs have been in the Big 12. I'd say UGA with Richt has killed it his time here.

Horrible thread, not started by Mizzou poster

as for those calling Brad Smith a turd frick you the guy was a boss and was the first QB to rush for 4,000 yards ad throw for 8,000 yards, Chase Daniel was a Heisman finalist for fricks sake. Corby Jones was a really good option QB from the late 90's. Head to you tube and watch the Flea Kicker game and you can see him at work. Gabbert was a bust and Mizzou fans knew it was coming.

Blaine got drafted so high because of his luxurious hair- you will not be able to convince me otherwise.

Maybe, but the backstory is that his agent was sabotaging the competition. Either way, Gabbert should've never gone that high.

yea Gabbert has had a rough life, all that NFL money but playing on a bad team and constantly under new management.

Gabbert - highest drafted
CorbyJ/BSmith - most exciting
Chase D - most successful
Darius Outlaw - best name
