Dak would have satisfied Les's weird obsession of having an athletic Qb in his pro set. Did missing on Daks signature start the decline?

Missing Dak or a QB of similar ability hurt LSU's chances for a run at the national title but saying LSU was in a decline is jab and while LSU fans are unhappy about the last 5 seasons decline is not what happened.

The last 3 seasons LSU lost juniors to the draft, lacked depth on the defensive line and line backer and honestly LSU finished each of those seasons about where most fans thought.

LSU record below

2011 12 wins
2012 10 wins
2013 10 wins
2014 8 wins
2015 9 wins with a rain out and a sure win, call it 10 wins

50 wins over 5 seasons is not bad

During this time MISS ST record

2011 7 wins
2012 8 wins
2013 7 wins
2014 10 wins
2015 9 wins

41 wins over last 5 seasons and really not bad seasons and I would call this improvement over the previous 5 seasons from 2006 through 2010 winning 29 games.

LSU record from 2006 through 2010 was 51 wins and I just do not see a decline, not up to fans expectations but most LSU fans are proud of our football team.

Not looking it up so I'll trust your stats, a you're an above-average poster here.

Question though, how many of those yards came in the first half?
