Is missing on Dak the difference in LSU not beating Bama during the decline?

Dak would have satisfied Les's weird obsession of having an athletic Qb in his pro set. Did missing on Daks signature start the decline?

Les would have turned Dak into our 11th tight end on scholarship

Dak was better off at Miss State. LSU is where quarterbacks dreams come to die.

No it's the kazillion early NFL departures. It's taken two years to get the depth back to where we need it to be.

Nope, Bama was just better.

No. LSU not beating Bama has been due to LSU' s decision to recruit smaller, faster defensive players because miles was convinced college football was going all spread and not being able to stop a team from running 8 minutes off the clock at then of the game running straight dive plays because they are outweighed and not as strong as a couple teams on LSU' s schedule.
The only way for les to rectify this is on offense and to go all out spread as this gives bigger, stronger teams trouble. Les plays both offense and defense right into Bama's strength. Auburn can't match up physically with us but we have a dam hard time stopping them.
You can't fix the LSU defense if u go all spread because you're defense is on the field too much. U have bigger defensive guys playing 100 snaps. They are gonna wear down. It's why spread teams give up 45 points. Les is a I formation offense and a small defense. Bama eats that alive and dak would make ZERO difference.

Dak wouldn't have become the player he is if he had gone to LSU

You dont think Cam Cameron couldnt have developed Dak into something great around all of that talent?

Yea, as an LSU fan, I appreciated that post. Can't argue with it.

I believe Cam would have been able to incorporate Les's kooky play calls with his offense, as Dak would have been versatile enough to handle it. Would have been fun to watch.

You're assuming Les would know what to do with Dak. That's not a given.

Les has a different philosophy in coaching. No Dak would not have done as well at Lsu but like or dislike Les's philosophy, he's won a lot of games. Different strokes for different folks.

I think you have the wrong judgment of both Dak and Les, but you have your opinions. I respect that.
