Like I said he panicked and it’s possible he was tripped up by a leg or stumbled from the turf. It is indeed a weird looking football move on 4th down and 3 yards to go. The snap played a part of course.

I don't think the snap caused him not to see the gap. The RG pulled around to the left side. I think he was supposed to run left, where the RB motioned to. I think he saw the defender crashing on his left, bailed on the call, and took it up the middle. I'm not convinced the snap was why he ran up the middle. JC Latham got blown up also.

This is great news. Auburn transfer quarterbacks had a great year. Bo Nix was 2nd in the country in passing yards this season and was invited to the Heisman ceremony. TJ Finley was 18th in the country in passing yards this season. Thorne may yet have a good career if he gets out of Auburn.

I’m not as down on Milroe as most. Put him in a good situation and he’s fine.
The opposite of a good situation was him having to play backstop before QB practically every snap against Michigan.

This knocked him down and destroyed any chance, but it looked like mich knew what was going to happen and had all options covered. Almost like they knew what was coming.

I got a feeling that Milroe is Tide or Die. So, probably not. But there are a LOT of teams at the FBS level that would take him in a heartbeat and he would have no competition to start.
