So you make an absolutely astoundingly dumb subject and follow that up with an equally dumb OP, but its his fault because he didnt keep reading.

Yep, it's easy to sleep on both guys already on the roster but I think both are capable by committee.
Magee compares well to Mason. He isn't going to truck many people but very talented as a change of pace. Hilliard was dealing with turf toe last year, and combined with a stable OL, I look for him to turn some heads in the fall between the tackles. LF will get his snaps but he isn't really in a boom or bust spot IMO.

It's sad. It really is. Back when I started on here the LSU fans on here were great. They were realistic and fun. Now the newer ones are mostly unrealistic homers.

I'd be flustered too if my best offensive weapon returning was Magee with 600+ yards.

If you don't have even a passing knowledge of our depth chart then you have no business starting this thread. Give it up man.

dont even care. Sure woulda loved to have hill/landry/obj back, but Collins and 4/5 oline starters are back combined with an upgrade at OL coach. As bama has shown in the past you can put any scrub at RB and go for 1000+ yards if your line is solid.

I bet you felt the same way in 2011, with Richardson and his astounding 700 yards

Meh, Richardson was injured most of the year and had more yards as a true frosh.
You have to be high if you are comparing the two.

Which scrub are you referring to?
The one that won the Heisman trophy?
The one that was picked #3 overall and a Heisman finalist?
Or maybe the one that was in the Pro Bowl this weekend?
Take your pick.

LSU's success has very little to do with LF, and more to do with the OL, QB play, and D stepping up

Lol you're already cat fighting over RB stats, but it's all the mean ole LSU posters picking on you. What a joke.

Maybe it's because most Gumps like to poke fun at LSU for going 10-3 and call it underachieving and wasting a roster full of talent..........and along comes a Gump that suggests that next years success is tied to ONE player who has never set foot on a college football field? The suggestion is utterly ridiculous.

fournette will be fine being mixed in early, but not asked to do too much, until he learns how to pick up blitzers. Magee isnt J. Hill, but is no slouch. hilliard is capable also. O line returns intact, sans Trai Turner. I believe an acceptable replacement will be found. one key was keeping collins- our best olineman. jennings has the upper hand at qb, but i truly believe brandon harris will give him a run. particularly if cam can do some minor mechanical tweaking in the spring. another wr besides dural needs to step up and i think youll see desean white flexed out a good bit. itll be a work in progress. if we get by wisky in the opener, we have 4 games to tune things prior to going to jordan-hare. better have things figured out by then. im also not wearing p&g glasses. were losing over 5000 yds in offense if u combine the players leaving. wont be as productive.

LSU's offensive success will be directly correlated with how well our our o-line dictates the line of scrimmage on runs and how long they can keep a pocket for our unproven qb on pass plays

You are one of the people in this thread that need to download Colin Cowherd's podcast of his show from yesterday and listen to it. It would do you a world of good.
