I really just wanted an honest assesment of LSU's offensive situation next season

That would have been a reasonable question.

Thank you, all I was looking for. I forgot that Hilliard was coming back as well. Seems like he's been there forever. Thanks the assessment.

why the hell are all of you so defensive?

95% of LSU posters are homers/very sensitive.

In answer to your question No not all of LSU's success will be tied to LF. They still have a good Defense. At RB they still have Magee and Hilliard. One of Jennings, Rivers, Rettig, or Harris they should figure out the QB situation.

True, It's gotten worse though thanks to the realistic LSU fans being pushed out.

At WR they return Travin Dural (I'm counting on big things from him).

TE: Dillon Gordon will return and hopefully have a big year.

OT: Collins and Hawkins are back.

OG: Alexander is back. One of Fanaika, Dodd, Austin, Pocic, Boutte, or Washington will start.

C: Porter is back.

I've seen very little of Magee and losing Hill, Landry, OBJ , and Mettenberger, I'm just unsure of where LSU's points are going to come from.

But Mett sucked and Cam was gonna be a failure.

Also TE Desean Smith. The offense risks taking a step back if there is not a legitimate third down receiving threat and an efficient QB to facilitate it. This may be the year LSU actually uses the pass catching TE for this reason. I think that was the plan last year based on the TCU playcalling but then the best 3rd down receiver in college showed up and the rest is history.

Our offensive success has very little to so with LF next year, he's icing.

Well.... Idk about that. He still should get significant carries.

Our OL is staying intact for the most part as you pointed out. Keeping our experienced LT was huge in both the running and passing game. I say LF is icing because I feel like most capable SEC RBs will be able to put up decent numbers behind our OL next year. If he overperforms then great, but I think Hilliard and Magee can and will carry their load too. In other words, even if LF doesn't live up to the hype as a true freshman we'll still have a very good rushing attack and our season doesn't hinge on him being all-world out of the gate.

Won't matter. Magee and Hilliard will handle the rock just fine.

I understand what you mean.

I agree. I suppose all I meant was he should get some carries out of the gate to help y'all out. Magee doesn't strike me as the type of runner to take the majority of the carries (even though he is a very good RB) and Hilliard had a disappointing year last year.

I guess spelling "you" with "u" is one way to get yourself taken seriously around here.
