Alabama is the greatest. Everyone in Chicago, Moscow, Paris, New York and Los Angeles talk about Alabama every day, all day. I was in a business meeting this morning with our San Diego clients, and the first thing they mentioned was how Alabama was #2 in the CFP rankings, and should be #1. I just had to come here on the SECr and let everyone know.

Edit: Oops. Forgot to mention our London office. They are talking about Alabama all day, every day too.

2nd Edit: I did not read a word of the OP

Right or wrong, I judge someone as having below average intelligence if they use this as an insult.

Kinda like 'butthurt'.

It's not an insult. It's just y'all's name. Why go ad hominem instead of addressing what I said?

It took about a minute to run the query to get the win-loss records and about 10 minutes to type narrative. I gather by your frustration of spending more than 5 minutes to read something that shouldn't have taken more than 2 minutes makes your angry. It makes you feel inadequate. So you turn to fantasy and video games.

I guess that anyone that uses a cartoon demon from a video game as the icon they identify with the most wouldn't be able to have an intelligent discussion about statistics anyway.

Perhaps you're better served pretending you're some super demon killer rather than someone that can discuss events surrounding your team.

You're probably a product of your environment so its not really your fault though. You're just a little victim.

The success LSU experienced was due to the weaker opponents in the West. The East opponents they played in Les' first three years dominated them. Changing coaches will result in LSU returning to their historical norm.

I think this will be good for LSU fans in the long run. Once they understand that tDecline was inevitable and that they aren't a blue blood, the better. Obviously they don't deserve Les at this point.

I'm not comparing pedigrees. I'm only talking about LSU.

...was actually some good analysis. However this...

...is just opinion.

Yup. LSU and UT. On your mind constantly. Sad actually.

ETA: And after a careful review of your application, and much thought and deliberation, rivalry is still denied. Feel free to apply again next year.

ETA2: And don't put us into your fight song either. Thanks.

I keep seeing comments like this. I honestly don't understand the issue. The purpose of the board is to present and have dialogue regarding the SEC.
It took less than 15 minutes to type that at yet people want to complain about it being tl/dr or why would you spend ALL THAT TIME typing it.

Just today alone, you'll probably spend more time with your thumb up your arse and drooling over whether Les Miles than I did thinking about and typing that thread.

Are you so simple that can't understand that?

I guess the #CornDoGDecline is real not just in football, but education as well.

Because you say too much stupid shite, none of which is worth addressing.

Of course it's opinion. While trends may help predict the future there is no 100% method to predict. I believe, unless a total shake up in the West occurs and LSU changes coaches, LSU will experience a real decline. I don't want to see that.

I think you make one of the more cogent arguments for us to move on from CLM. So I had to point out the logical fallacy in regards to what would happen with a new hire. You also did not fully address what would happen if we remained status quo. Sorry, as much as it pains me to let CLM move on (a tremendous human being I greatly admire), it is time to try something new.
