I hope the team is up for the game. It has all the markings of a no show, Ole Miss type performance.

The majority of the fanbase doesn't seem like they are though. That's primarily because these types of people have a false sense of entitlement that anything less than a BCS bowl is a poor season, so there's no use in even getting up for the Bowl Game. These are the same types of "fans" that only get hyped about the Bama game each season. Insufferable bunch.
ETA: LSU can really make a statement in this game against Iowa, and really catch some momentum before NSD and into the offseason. Also, it would be our fourth straight 10-win season. This is a huge game.

Unlike 99% of the script A's in the SEC Rant I am going to my college team's bowl game so I guess that means I am excited about it
