I'm still disappointed we're not going to Pasadena, but I can get excited about New Orleans. Plus I think we're one win away from tying the series with OU, so that's something to be happy about....

Not really. We're 9-3 and playing a shitty 8-4 Big 10 team that lost to NIU but still thinks they're awesome. I hope our team comes to play. I hate Iowa so I hope we run it up on their asses.

They've lost only one more game than us. Two of their four losses were to top ten OSU and MSU.

Well I already miss LSU football, so I will be pumped up for kickoff. I think Iowa will give us a good indication of where we stand against Wisconsin; we get to see Jennings again; and we can get revenge against Iowa from 2004. Plus, I'd like to get our recruits that are announcing the next day to be excited about their pick. Oh, and I want our fourth straight 10 win season. There is a lot to be excited for about the game

LSU needs this one to reverse a negative post-season trend, but I don't think that anyone is superpumped for the bowl game, no.

I don't want Les Miles to start earning a reputation for losing bowl games, so yes, I hope they win. I'll be watching to see Jennings throw to NFL wide receivers and an NFL RB in Jeremy Hill. He won't have those weapons next year (most likely).
