He sees deficiencies and he goes out and fixes em--or at least hires someone who can.
He's humble as hell ... zero hubris.
Behind the scenes he's hella crazy, and the players love him.
He doesn't put up with crap from anyone.
And after puttin' in a long day at the office, he then takes off all over Texas.
Yeah, I think he's a good coach.

I would say he is a great manager. Almost every coach on his staff has beaten him before, like Chavis. Instead of being passed he hires them and makes the team better.

Rant is in denial about how good he is. There is an everlasting reciprocating status between "he gone" and "he sucks." Soon, the rantards will return to the "he gone" motif.

Yep. The old "You won't get Chavis" --> "We obviously didn't want him bad enough" --> "We really hated his guts, anyway. He sucked arse." --> "You thieving bastards owe us money. Even though we're glad we got rid of him." --> "Y'all need way more than he can give you." --> ????? is, at least, somewhat self-limiting.
The "Sumlin sucks" --> "Sumlin deserves better than College Station" thing could theoretically go on relatively indefinitely.
