Is Kentucky actually that good of a job now?

Apparently the fanbase expectations and reality are no longer the same.

Players now give a shite about one thing... NIL... And Kentucky supposedly is not near the tops in the nation now with a reported $2.5M hoops budget last year.

Arkansas now has $5-7M. Kansas has $4M.

Question is, why would an established HC making good $ and decent NIL leave a less stressful job for the Kentucky madness now??

The Crafts have already said they’ll go 6+ with a new coach. They were unhappy with the ROI on the money they were giving to Cal before the last couple of years.

Kentucky needs a young coach that has fire and wants to climb the ladder. That was Cal originally, until he became complacent.

That's fine. But the list of elite players lined up once again to go to Kentucky defies every suggestion it's a player thing. They get absolutely everyone they want with their current NIL budget.

I mean blueblood players go to blueblood programs. Coach Saban and I could write a book on it.

UK will find somebody. The main thing they need is somebody that can actually coach. Drew is good, so that sucks. I hate Baylor.

This is such nonsense.

Drew said he'd pray on it. His family just built a new home in WACO and didn't want to move. Wife and God said stay and finish your work in WACO - lol

There are a few jobs in American Sports listed as Elite. This is one. Always will be my guy.

Baylor also just finished a couple hundred mil new basketball facility for him on a piece of prime I-35 real estate. I’m sure he feels some obligation about that.
