Many of your fanbase will always be called Updykes (not just by Auburn people....many other fanbases refer to your fanbase as Updykes).

The reason for this is that an absolutely idiotic moron was so caught up in his hatred of his favorite college football team's rival that he took it upon himself to POISON our trees. All over a college football rivalry. And many of your fanbase treated him like a hero from the very beginning. And he never, ever showed remorse towards Auburn, only for himself and your fanbase for embarrassing them.

Honest question: If some moron from Auburn blew up Denny Chimes one day after Auburn loses the Iron Bowl (no one is hurt, just Denny Chimes being destroyed)...and he admits to doing it because of how upset he was with your fanbase, how would you feel? I'm sure that since you show such objectivity towards Auburn that you would be the first to say that one person doesn't represent the Auburn fanbase and just dismiss that one "rogue" Auburn fan.

After the 2013 IB, over on their SB Nation section, gumps were posting things like, "Hey Harvey go for their drinking water system this time" and, "Harvey should burn down all their athletic facilities repeatedly".
Seems like the ones who were the angriest, over emotional and irrational are pro Updyke, which never made any sense, considering how horrid, stupid and petty he made the Gump fan base look on a national level.
