We won't get into it again. I guess it's just different there. That shite doesn't fly here in KY. People get livid. I've seen several fist fights because of it. Mostly due to students from Ohio thinking they can like our basketball team but not our football team.

Clemson has a promotion giving away free football tickets at Bi-Lo. Bi-Lo does this for both SC and CU basketball and baseball tickets.. but football?

In recent years, in part due to the YES plan, anytime there aren't enough tickets sold to our football games we give them to the national guard and they sure as hell can bring a decent contingent.

Well to be Fair Clemson's is for their game against Wofford. ETA and Troy.

We still haven't sold out completely for those shite games either Like citadel. But like said neither have a lot of teams for stupid games.

I think it's fair to say FSU and Clemson's culture of actually caring about football just doesn't fit the ACC mold.

That wasn't the point of the other posts. Alabama fans and Georgia fans were buying season ticket packages of from other schools to get one ticket for when their team was in town (ala. Alabama vs Duke in 2010 or Auburn in 2009, Georgia vs Tech in 2010).

Oh wait, Gamecocks fans all bought Carolina Panthers season tickets just so they can get the ticket for the one college game being played there.

Not really. It's just that if you want to be a UK fan, you have to be one just like the rest of us. Through the good and the bad. I don't think that's much to ask. I guess it's just different since UK has great support of both football and basketball where as at Auburn it's just football.

bama fans bought duke season tickets

whiel admirable duke isn't really on the same level, not to say alabama wouldn't do this vs GT. i am not pointing out how super awesome we are that we do this but how petty GT truly is.

this happens every year we play at bobby dodd. every year there stadium is at a minimum half red and black and these guys are supposed to be in the top half of the ACC. it has gotten so bad the AD sent out an email imploring the tech faithful to buy these season tickets ASAP so they "got into the right hands" or something like that. so this isn't some one time thing, we literally do this every year we play at tech.

we play at home then we have a neutral site in ATL, kinda like arky at WMR

Kentucky Ranked 25th National in AVG Attendance last year.
And Filled 97.7 % of the Stadium.

Got an Average of 66,070 fans per game.

Probably wasn't as loud as other schools for all home games, but they still showed up.
