No we have just stated about 50 times that we played 70 some odd players in that game. Watch the game and stop being fricking stupid if you want a response. God damn you uneducated Gumps.

Was that game even on TV? I don't think anyone (except obviously the great MSU fans) here could tell you how many players played in that game. Why would Mullen play 3rd and 4th string players in a close game? 23-7 is by no means put away and Troy made it 23-14 in the 3rd. Dan Mullen is one stupid mofo if he played 70 players in that game.

I think his point is this; if your backups are giving up that obscene amount of yardage then you aren't deep. You act like State is the only team playing backups. Bama has played backups in every game. For most games the backups have been in the entire 4th quarter.

The point, I think, that he is trying to get to is that your starting D will eventually be tired and those backups - at certain positions - will have to play. Based on the avalanche of yards your backups give up, you can't feel good about your chances in the 4th qtr against Bama when your starters are tired of being pushed around all night and your backups aren't capable of giving you quality reps so they can get rest.

Per Hailstate.com MSU had 40 players participate in that game. I could see how you got that confused with 70.

Well you are dumb as dirt if you did because it was 23-21 with 12:40 to go in the fourth. State scored with 7 minutes left in the game to go up 30-21. Troy kicked a field goal late.

Troy dominated on offense averaging over 5 yards a rush.

Quit whining like a bitch about getting pushed around by the fifth best team in the Sunbelt.

No I understand what you are saying. I don't think anyone will claim that we have the depth Bama does. You don't have to, in a big game you never get past the 2 deep. A lot of the kids that were seeing the field weren't 2nd string, they are true and redshirt freshmen who had never been in a game. Notice the improvement as the season has progressed, those kids are still playing but at a much higher level. Again it's not like you will see them on the field saturday but next year when those guys finally are in your 2 deep they will have experience and playing time. We don't recruit the talent to approach it the same way Bama does, we have to improvise.

MS State only managed 1 pick against Tyler Bray

He also went 13 of 24 for 148 yards. Pretty good pass defense.. he made the right decision and threw the ball away numerous times so the chances at us getting a pick were significantly less.

Which is something I don't see AJ doing. He is to cocky, which is going to cost him big time.

Have you seen any of our games? Half of AJs incompletions are where he throws the ball away.

LMAO!! You have attempted 160 passes. You have attempted 291 rushes!

That's a running heavy team.

A balanced team is like MSU. 216 passing attempts to 259 rushing attemps.

How is that wrong?

MSU beat Troy (at Troy) 30-24.

In that game Troy gave up 4 turnovers, 2 fumbles two ints.

Troy outgained MSU 572 -457.

Troy threw for 34-47-2 for 349 on the best secondary in America.

Troy rushed for 40-223 yards.

If Troy doesn't turn the ball over 4 times, they beat MSU.

This 7-0 start is a fraud.

MSU is the only SEC team ever to play at Troy.

Saved us about 1 million to put into our program! Smart of our AD.

Second... kiss my azzz on the stats that are a reflection of scrubs!

Seriously this darkhorse guy is getting annoying. I mean i get that you want your team to win and it would be kinda dumb to just admit defeat and all, but i mean COME ON, all this crap about how we havent seen the likes of teams like State and we are going to get exposed and dismantled by State's nfl secondary and their top notch offense.

Literally nobody has said that. The fact is you haven't played a team like us yet, not a big deal, we haven't played a team like you yet either (obviously). We will play our asses off on Saturday and I think it will be a hard fought and relatively close game, I hope we win but obviously we aren't favored by any means. Alabama has a great team this year. You need to take us trolling you less seriously.

I would never refer the MSU team as scrubs. They are D-1 athletes. Not many elite athletes, but a few.

You don't save money by playing at Troy.

Bama home game with over 100,000 fans at say $65 equals 6.5 million. If you pay Troy a Million, you still make 5.5 million.

You lost money not playing at home.

Troy's Stadium may seat as many as MSU's.

What MSU wishes for: MSU will pick off at least 3 AJ passes. He'll be replaced by Philip Ely after Sims gets injured following his 3rd sack.

For real: We are favored by 23 for a reason. Mississippi covers but is not ever close. Prepare to get skull-blasted by our O-line. Defense allows 17 points but the O scores 38. Bama wins by 21. AJ struggles with his accuracy (maybe has a pick on a long throw) but our running game has 250 yards.
