We do own you. 60-41-4 all time versus y'all is proof. That doesn't prevent it from still being a rivalry though.

I understand that alabama refuses to admit to the LSU rivalry .....
It's the insecureU thing.
However....LSU is the most important game on the alabama schedule every year.
Just ask Paul Finbaum!

I'm assuming you're counting Bama as their biggest rival? Or a&m?
Either way, it's funny that LSU's biggest rival would consider LSU at best their 3rd, if not 4th, rival.

It definitely has the best pregame intros. Even if they do lack substance.

Look, do you live in some sort of fantasy land? Why the hell do you lie about ole miss and their success all the time? People know it's not true and know that ole miss ain't shite compared to LSU. Your the only one that believes that bs. Scary.

Go rush the field again. I saw you on the TV.

A rivalry is more than who your biggest game is. Hell, in the 90s Florida was our biggest game. They never unseated BAMA as our biggest rival even when we had the streak.
UK is probably our 3rd or 4th (fans are split on Vandy/UK). Vandy wins now and again as does UK but both rivalries have winless periods have gone on for lengthy amounts of time. UK was winless against us for 30+ years but that rivalry never stopped being a rivalry. What helped that one was it was established as dual sport rivalry and we used to have a damn trophy that was exchanged (MADD and an unfortunate accident around the time of the game one season took that away from us but it needs to return).
With Vandy, the early years established that rivalry. And although there have plenty of times where Vandy has had long winless periods. I've never gone to a UT-Vandy game where they didn't play mean as frick and sometimes even dirty against us. It doesn't come across on tv but in person you can tell it's a rivalry on the field. It helps that it's typically the final game of the year and Vanderbilt knows that it can ruin a season - games like that their players don't care if they get hurt and they play like it.
OTOH, UGA should be a rival (that series is about as even as you can find) but isn't except in terms of that game being important to the East. Both teams have other rivals and both hate Florida more than each other.

1. Bama
2. Florida
3. Auburn
4. Ole Miss
5. Everyone else hated equally

UF's top rivals are:
1. Georgia
2. Florida State
3. Miami
4. Auburn
5. Tennessee
LSU has a strong case to be 6th if we were to go further than that. Alabama is another, but the UF/Bama case is more because the teams rarely play each other except for SECCGs.

LSu fans keep saying that they're a rivalry game for Bama. That's just not the case, at least from our standpoint. It WAS the most important game for several years in a row but that hasn't been the case recently as they've been just another game on the way to the SECCG. Not close to the iron bowl or the TSIO. With Oeauxno leading them I foresee the series to continue the current trend Bama will get to double digits win streak.

I respect Florida they got talent, win games, good competition. Ole Miss & A&M talk so much shite, don't win shite, complete garbage.

LSU hasn't even played Tulane since 2009, and hasn't lost to them since 1982 (that was a soul crushing loss).
By the way, does Tulane even still have a football team?

Traditionally, Tulane and Ole Miss were the rivalry games. Tulane and their smarmy NOLA yats, Ole Miss and their preppy Deep South frat boys, vs the non-Nola coonasses here in La.
Was once a time when, if LSU had only won those two games and lost the rest, the season wouldn't be viewed as terrible (although that scenario never was tested in real life).
We don't really have a true rival now, one game against the hated "THEM THAT MUST BE BEAT", that rises above the rest. Alabama is simply the game against the best team in the conference, and the team that took that crown away from us, and their coach used to coach here. Plus, Alabama has bigger games, where record doesn't matter.
Florida is like that- we match up yearly and the games are great, but Florida has bigger rivals too.
The SEC tried to make Arkansas the team, but that never took off.
A&M has potential, but we'll have to see. I HATE to say this, but they need to beat us a couple times to get the juices flowing; right now they're a team we look forward to beating (like Miss State), not one we gear up for.

LSU fans get off on being condescending towards Ole Miss and denying the rivalry, yet your asses draw up everytime we square off. Ole Miss embraces the rivalry, and we punch your smug asses in the face with alarming regularity.

FSU is heads and shoulders number 1 most hated. We don't want them to win in anything. UT and UGA are very close but UGA fans are very rational versus delusional UT fans. We don't play Miami every year anymore so they have really fallen off our hated list. They were number 1 in the 80's. LSU, Bama and Auburn are all distant 5th. Kentucky might be higher because of our heated basketball rivalries. It often spill over to football.
