Only because of a TD with one second left that allowed a top 10 LSU to escape with a victory over an outmanned Rebel squad in Freezes 1st year as coach. yeh, you guys own us. ~blank stare~

so did LSU win or not win? I mean I could pick out the two 2 and 3 point wins Ole Miss had and not count those if you want to go that route. btw, you go back 5 more years and LSU won all of them. since integration, the series is 31-17-2. I chose integration because prior to that was the heart of the rivalry.

At the end of the day, you said Ole Miss had won as many games as LSU the past 10 years. That is an incorrect statement, nothing more nothing less

Pretty sure LSU is 6-4 over the last 10 years and that's with tBears cheating

If you go back over the last 15 years, LSU is 11-4

Historically Ole Miss and Tulane are their biggest rivals. Recently even though they have been dominated by them, Alabama has probably been their biggest game every season. Then again, Bama is everyone's biggest game of the season.

I know, just another important game on the schedule but not Bama's rival. That's UT and Au.

Except for their little mini run from 01-11 they haven't really been that much competition as shown by Bama's dominate lead H2H.

From the current trend looks like Bama will reach a double digits win streak furthering the H2H dominance.

How the heck can Tulane be a rival of any self respecting SEC team? 1950, maybe, but not 2017.

LSU fans get off on being condescending towards Ole Miss and denying the rivalry, yet your asses draw up everytime we square off. Ole Miss embraces the rivalry, and we punch your smug asses in the face with alarming regularity.

Does arse kicking just mean a win? Or does it have to be a true arse kicking? Either way, we win.

2007 LSU 41-24 (arse kicking)
2008 Ole Miss 31-13 (arse kicking)
2009 Ole Miss 25-23
2010 LSU 43-36
2011 LSU 52-3 (mercy knee)
2012 LSU 41-35
2013 Ole Miss 27-24
2014 LSU 10-7
2015 Ole Miss 38-17 (arse kicking)
2016 LSU 38-21 (arse kicking)

Wins LSU 6-4
arse kickings LSU 3-2

So you're wrong.

I guess you missed my first post ITT where I said ole miss was lsu's biggest rivalry. But if we're categorizing fan bases, Ole Miss has more little man's syndrome than anyone in the conference

LSU and Tulane haven't been real rivals in anything except maybe baseball in probably 30 years. We rarely even play them anymore in football

There are 2 kinds of rivals - traditional rivals and relevance rivals. LSU's traditional rivalries had their roots before most of this board was born. Ole Miss and Tulane were both powerhouses at a point in time. They are no longer, so teams of relevance are what gets Tiger fans juices going. Over the past 30-40 years that has been Florida, Bama, Auburn and recently aTm.

I predict that the Bama/Tennessee rivalry will go the way of the LSU/Ole Miss rivalry if Tennessee remains irrelevant for another decade.

When Arkansas beats LSU it's almost like they don't care. I think they like it.

None of the above.

The correct answer is Auburn. That rivalry is rich w/ bad blood.

Not before Tuberville. We played Auburn only on a rotating basis prior to the expansion. So there was a fairly limited history. Generally, the fans of both schools didn't consider the other team a rival, and there was a sense of mutual respect, even though there were some great and intense games. Tuberville was the main catalyst for the change in attitude of LSU fans toward Auburn, along with the fact that for several years LSU-Auburn was the most important game in the SEC West, before Saban's arrival at Alabama.

Schools with most NFL players

LSU has the most players in the NFL going into last season, Didn't see ole miss in top 10... quite a few SEC schools though... ole miss not being one of them... pretty good for a "non-powerhouse" on our part to put so many players in the NFL

It's been 6 years since LSU was playing for a national title and 2 since LSU was in the top 2 in November. It's been damn near 60 years since Ole Miss was even in the conversation. No LSU has not been a "powerhouse" in a few years. Ole Miss has absolutely no room to talk. Your best seasons are the type seasons that led to Miles getting fired.

I know you'd never admit it, but you'd trade places with LSU in a heartbeat. Hope you enjoy probation and a 10 win season was worth it
