There was a big time hold by a wide receiver on the following play. I think it balanced itself out more or less.

Would have helped to get that call. Ref's were pretty good in general - FSU got more bad calls against them - (taunting call was weak, face mask was obvious) - they also were never called for holding which was amazing considering the amount of time the Oline was chasing our D'ends with arms stretched and hands full of jersey. I still don't know how we lost the game though. Winston is very over rated - JFF was hands down better than him and believe it or not - is more humble.

If horse collar is called on Auburn, FSU scores a lot quicker, probably leaving Auburn with over a minute to score, instead of seconds.

if you whiney bitches are going to make a daily horse collar thread I guess I will too from now on.

I am slightly more upset about several blatant holds that weren't called on FSU's line but even that doesn't upset me. The fact is, we had a great season in a year when we weren't supposed to be competing like we did. We will get better next year and the year after.

One for Auburn

and one for Bama

and a hissy fit.

I think they are more upset about showing up with the 102 ranked pass defense and thinking they could hide it all game long. When your corner back is more known for a kick return (or causing fumbles) than his pass defense you have a problem.

I will say that the U of Texas fan base is far and away better than this Aggie bunch.

I never really liked it either. In the NFL the whole thing started because TO got hurt, once a big star got hurt there's a new rule in place. Sometimes you are forced with a decision to horse collar or watch a guy go by you. The Auburn player decided to stop the guy from scoring any way he could, can't blame him for that.

There was actually 2 penalties on the tackle. The obvious horse collar and the more subtle facemask (until you see the play replayed, then it becomes quite clear). Neither was called and I guess you could argue it hurt AU. Probably not though, I could see FSU being much closer to the endzone and burning some clock.

We don't bitch about dumb frick penalties even if it costs us the NCG. Seems like a pussy arse way to be mad about losing a game that we obviously lost.

You dim wit, FSU has a decent defense, A@M does not, that is why FSU is a better team!!!

Amazing reasoning. Grabbing the face-mask is unavoidable at times as well yet can break the players neck. The same goes for the horse collar...

A&M still bitching about a call two months ago, quit acting like you are still in the Big 12. Even if they called a HC on that play, it would have been half the distance to the goal with under 30 sec left, JFF would still have to make the same pass he could not make during the game. In fact the extra 10 yards gave him a better field for his skills. Get over it.

Lol Pretty sure he was just saying JFF > Winston. Not A&M > FSU

But, yeah. I'm butthurt. We should have won that game. Auburn was NOT clearly the better team. Still. We didn't execute at key times and didn't get some calls. That's football.

Auburn lost the NC game the way they won all year. It was Karma.
