247 says he is 6'5" 230. Those are most likely exaggerated and yours are for sure.

At least he was listed in Vegas for that accolade at one point. The hype and delusion wasn't only radiating from College Station. Anyone that thinks a 6'6"/240 defensive end is going to have anything close to Garrett's record breaking season has to be from South Louisiana.

There's a reason for that

Correct, LSU has been notoriously poor at recruiting elite pass rushers lately.

If Arden Key weighs 240 pounds then the scale is broken.

Not really. They just haven't been developed or used correctly in Chavis' scheme. Danielle Hunter should have had 20 sacks in 2014 and Rasco wasn't a slouch either, physical-wise.

After the Music City Bowl, Chavis was asked about the pass rush throughout the season and he thought it was sufficient. Myles Garrett is going to be put as the nose tackle in a 3-2-6 alignment at the end of games and there'll be no pressure on the QB whatsoever. Welcome to 3rd and Chavis.

FWIW Lorenzo Carter played at 6'6 230 and was pretty dam good coming off the edge. Even though Key isn't as athletic as Carter his skill set is similar. Key will make an impact early and often for LSU. Body builders don't always equal great football players.

I'm not sure Key can spell English. He'll be a good 3rd Down DE but will probably not be an every down DE if he even qualifies. I bet Y'all end up recruiting over him.

Key is terrible at English, says guy who talks about "recruiting over him". Lol

What's so funny? I would bet he gets recruited over in the next class. He'll be a solid 3rd Down guy.

1. He will never live up to the delushional greatness of the LSU fanbase.
2. He will never be as bad as the other fanbases declare him to be.
