I'm sticking with steroids.
When Saban got to LSU we suddenly got bigger and thicker than everyone else. In 2 years time we went from 225 # LBs to a 265 # LB. Same thing is going on now at Bama.

Nowhere near as good as those Miami teams in the late 80's/early 90's.

That's a good question. I have asked friends--is this even any fun any more? I still get a bit nervous before and early during games. But you're right, there's no drama.
Am I bored? Can't say that I am. And I'm not saying I would want to change it. I've lived through my share of dry spells. But yeah some of the excitement is gone.
