You may have a learning deficiency.

Don't be fooled by the Florida State logo by the guy's poster name. All the guy does on this board is defend Alabama. He is probably one of them

Why did Alabama cancel the scheduled game as soon as Michigan State started showing signs if life?

They cancelled the game right after MSU was coming off a 7-6 season dumbass LINK

I will say this, Michigan State was playing as good a football as anybody in the country at the end of last year and that was the BEST Defense in the country period. Nasty.

You are correct and the Alabama-MSU series was cancelled in September of last year after MSU had put a whopping on mighty USF, Youngstown St, & Western Michigan and lost to Notre Dame

Really? Didn't Curt Cousins swear out a warrant on Marcell Dareus after the game for assault?...I believe they knocked the MSU 2nd string QB out, too. Alabama has left their mark on Michigan teams in the last few years.

claiming a team is "scared" is internet bull shite but it's May and we have over 90 days until college football starts so, hey, whatever gets your through the day man

though I have to say that Capital One Bowl was the one time I've ever said "Maybe we should stop scoring"

worst arse beating I've ever seen Alabama lay down

Yep first time I had ever seen a First and Goal wind up in a punt. That and Saban being pissed about a back scoring a TD.

I agree - I watched those MSU player come out the tunnel, they were big, strong looking guys. MSU brought a good crowd down for that bowl game - their fans were pumped. I thought we were gonna have a good fight on our hands. Bama's defense went beast mode real quick.

I seem to remember AU canceled a game with FSU,you are like a stick arguing with a big Oak tree, you try to bring a team down to your level, you will never be an elite team, you will always be from the outhouse ,

People like you crack me up and is exactly what I was fishing for. " you will never be an elite team" yea, no joke I will never be an elite team. What makes you elite? Just because you went to Wal Mart and bought a t-shirt?

1.OP makes ridiculous implication
2.OP called out for stupidity
3.OP claims he was "fishing"
4.OP claims victory for his "catch"

I kind of wanted this series to happen. Game in Tuscaloosa in early September so those Michigan players have to experience over 90 degrees and the humidity. Game at MSU the next year in November so the Bama players have to experience the colder weather, and possibility of snow. I always hear the arguments about how climate and location makes a difference, jokes about slower athletes up north, and all that. Seems like this one would have been a good series.

Rare for big10 to schedule OOC late in season. Was once prohibited I think, but may be softened some now.

We'd love to play that series, it just probably doesn't make much business sense to hang on to it right now relative to some of the other options and question marks that we have relative to the future

translation

we wanted them to come to BDS and instead of giving them a fair and square return game we demanded the return be at a neutral site b/c we can make slightly more money that way.

sorry but this (admitted) bullshite move by Bama vs Mich State has always been pathetic.

meanwhile Saban then has the stones to say setting up an all FBS schedule is tough. No shite its tough when you wont even give a P5 team a true H&H.

So a game played on a neutral site isn't the fairest way for both teams to play each other?...are you subject to this type of reasoning often?

There is nothing unfair about it, but it does make one's OOC schedule easier never having to play a true road game out of conference.
