You might want to give it a go if you feel confident enough for big stage game one.

our AD claims we can't afford to give up the revenue that would come along with a guaranteed home game.

as an aside, i would much prefer to go to tuscaloosa or athens for a game than dallas.

those neutral site games are so corporate and sterile. its not the college football experience.

however, it does suck that interesting home/home matchups like this continue to get cancelled or never scheduled in favor of "neutral site" matchups.

games played on college campuses at college stadiums are good for the sport and good for the fans.

more games at the georgia dome or in jerryworld are just stupid

We canceled the home and home with Michigan State in favor of neutral site games with Notre Dame in Ireland.

I don't think so. 2016 is supposed to be USC, at least according to ESPN people with "sources."

I think when the MSU game was scheduled it was a short time later the SEC was considering going to a 9 SEC game format. A lot of teams starting canceling future games anticipating this happening. So if the OP is fishing then you had a few bights. If you were not then all I got to say is you need to unplug your ears to get all the Bama stuff out of your head

I haven't heard anything about that game in Ireland. But I've heard about the USC game and I hope that stays on schedule

good lord Auburn fans start more threads about Bama than bama fans do

How does one beat their rival on an epic play like that and STILL manage to stay rustled? Just makes no sense

So what about all the threads started by bama fans about auburn? Have you come out with who you are an alter of yet btw?

As to the OP, the series was canceled because Bama wanted to turn the away trip to lansing into a neutral site game, and state wasnt having any part of it.

You've been on this board a while now and still haven't figured out that the SECr is mostly bullshite from annoying fans?

You may have a learning deficiency.

So a game played on a neutral site isn't the fairest way for both teams to play each other?...are you subject to this type of reasoning often?
Also, if you play 2 neutral site games, you can play twice as many different opponents with nobody having an advantage.

No, he said games are more fun when they actually take place on a college campus. I agree with him.

I feel that it's more exciting to play a new opponent on even terms in a different environment...but of course Alabama does it on a regular basis and Auburn, not so much.

I will say this, Michigan State was playing as good a football as anybody in the country at the end of last year and that was the BEST Defense in the country period. Nasty.
