11 commits, only 3 are 4 stars according to Rivals. I am not concerned at all, but this is definitely not the type of elite class so far that you expect from Saban.

Saban, or any other competent head coach for that matter, dngaf what his prospects are ranked by Rivals/Scout/ESPN.

I wouldn't worry about it, trust your head coach.

If it makes you feel better, 6 or 7 are ranked 4* or better in 247 and Scout.

I haven't seen a single highlight video of any of our commitments so I don't have a clue whether the rankings are right or not. Not that a highlight video would really show if they were right or not but still, I've got no idea how good some of our guys are. Its a bit surprising to see us with so few top 250 guys but I'm sure we'll end up with a top five class or so.

247 has us with 6 four stars and 1 five star. The new Bama Bump

I personally am freaking out. The guy has never shown an eye for talent, and honestly consider Saban to be just like Shula.

Prepare your anus for the Jumbo Package full of 2 stars.

I definitely trust Saban more than Rivals, but we can't claim Rivals is right about all of our #1 classes and then say Rivals in wrong when it comes to our down years.

I promise guys, I am not worried, just wondering what is up.

x100

Recruiting services are the biggest crocks out there, right up there with "draft experts"...

Very few people I know IRL life actually claim anything to do with "recruiting titles".

The only time I've every talked about Rivals extensively IRL is with my stepfather, who is an Auburn fan...

One of my close friends writes for 247. He told me not to worry, he said he will be shocked if Alabama finishes out of the top 5

Come on Monti - Saban just signed an elite class three freaking months ago....

One thing I will NEVER concern myself with is Nick Saban's recruiting technique. He knows a helluva lot more than any recruiting service knows.

Todd McShay's head would explode if he had to discuss the character issues of college players.

He took a sip of beer while underage = character concerns

He loitered in a non-loitering area = character concerns

He had a 1 night stand at a party = character concerns
