They blew yall off the ball to start the game then made the plays when they had to to secure the win. Frame it however you want - a&m went into Tuscaloosa and won fair and square. Believe it or not, not every Bama loss is due to Bama "choking," they simply got outplayed on their home field.

Also, if you want to use that logic then you have to say LSU had Bama beat but just choked it away.

I pretty much agree with everything in your post. But, I do have a hard time believing that Bama wouldn't have scored a TD and went up if they'd ran the ball four times when they had first and goal from the 6. It also would've left about 20-30 seconds on the clock.

Bama v ND
A&M v Oregon

That would be a helluva nice playoff right now.

I actually agree with this. Except Les Miles choked that game away in the first half

If there were they would be playing in the nat champ......if ATM and bama played again it would be different

What? You gumps have some distorted memory of your first meeting with A&m. Bama made A&M punt twice. , ALL GAME.
While Bama is a good team, they are not head and shoulders better than the rest of the top 6-7 teams. I know gumps will hate this but,had Bama had to play more than 2 of the top 5 SEC teams, they might have not win the west.

Your coaching staff is a part of your team, so what they decide to do is just as important as how good the players are on the field. Bama's OC messed up, and Saban messed up for allowing it to happen. But A&M does get some credit for having a good enough run defense that caused Bama to throw the ball and a good enough defense to react to the pass and make a play on it.

I believe Bama didn't take them seriously enough, and were coming off LSU.

A&M would have lost to Ole Miss without some derpage.

For sure. The fake field goal was even worse than Bama calling a pass near the goal line against A&M. Also, the decision to have Ware run a QB sneak on 4th down was pretty dumb as well.

I guess that would mean.. Georgia is?

Based on.. on the field play.. I'd say TAMU is clearly the best team in the country right now. Wish we had a play-off this year we'd have some actual games to watch. Oregon vs Bama, A&M vs ND.

Couldn't agree more. That's why I was blaming OUR team.

That's just the thing. Bama was having no problems running the ball on aTm. But, Nussmeier kept going to the pass cuz Bama was playing from behind the whole game. And it wasn't necessary.

So its your OC's fault you lost and not that Manziel shredded your defense?

team no I don't think so. Best player in college football yes. we wouldn't be the same without AN but let's face it we live and die by the run, if JM was not there aTm is an eight win team
