I think lsu is going to win, but i think this game is going to be a LOT closer than most lsu fans think is comfortable.

I expect LSU to win as well but there is something about playing at home. JFF is a freshman and the last few weeks he's made freshman mistakes. But they've also been the first road games he's played with any adversity. So far in the home games, he's played a lot better than on the road. He feeds off the energy at Kyle and he plays confidently.

So while I expect this game to be a loss, I can certainly envision a scenario where LSU fumbles early, loses a coverage, misses a key tackle and suddenly we are up 10 in the 1st quarter. And that changes the pressure on JFF, the offense LSU runs, the crowd, everything.

It's actually pretty easy to contain JFF. It doesn't matter who or how many you rush....it's how they rush. Jff doesn't do well when def lineman stunt. You can put 8 in the box and he will slice them up if they rush straight lanes. Just ask LaTech about 3rd and 23.

Or you can take 4 DL and rush. The ends crash inside. JFF sees this and thinks he has the corner to run. But the 2 inside DL flare out and JFF runs into them. A few teams have done this to him with success.

We'll see this Sat.

This is going to be the key. Playing at home helps, but the kid is a freshman. If A&M can jump out early with a big special teams or defensive touchdown, the game could go either way, but if LSU gets ahead, I think the kid folds under pressure.

This kid isn't like most frosh QB's when it comes to folding under pressure. Coaches from high school, players, ect. have all said he lives in the spot light. This kid plays better under duress..

There's a big difference between being exposed and making freshman mistakes because he's pressing too much, which will happen this week and probably a few other times this season too. Not overrated though, this kid has a ton of potential and will be a great, great QB for aTm for the next few years.

Love the idea of monster lineman chasing JFF around, by the 4th quarter they'll be totally gassed.

They have to catch him before they can plant him.

We'll find out Saturday.

He will face the best defense he has seen since Tivy HS faced Hays Consolidated HS.

LSU may not be as good as the better Texas HS defenses but the Tigers are pretty close.

Lots of fail from "learned" LSU retards on here. A&M doesnt commit turnovers, keeps it close (within 10 points going into 3rd), and is able to move it and get first down second half, A&M rolls. If all of these happen they roll in a big way.

For reference, he had the flu against ole miss. He's like the jordan of college football freshman quarterbacks.

If aTm's defense can stop the run and not turn it over, I think they have a good shot to pull the upset at a hostile Kyle Field.

The conditions are there:

Day game, LSU plays better at night and the Aggies get up before the chickens do with Reveille.

Aggies are hungry to "strap it up" against Les.

JFF could be hard to catch.
