He might be thinking of us. We blacked out Florida in 2001 I believe, and then they proceeded to black us out on the field

I knew exactly what he meant, it's still wrong. A blackout is wearing black jerseys. Or if you want you expand it to when all the fans wear black. Neither of those happened in 09.
We wore black pants twice under Donnan, we gonna call those blackouts too?
