Talking with some UGA fans last night it sounded like it was an on again / off again plan? Seemed a little controversial?

It was never on, geez people. A few students wanted to get our students to wear black but that's it. Nobody in any official capacity at UGA at all whatsoever has said black. They never asked the fans to wear black and never said the team might wear black.

Btw I imagine it's a forgone conclusion that this exact this is going to happen every single time we play a ranked team at home. I'm glad Kirby decided to bring them out of hiding but damn now people are going to ask every week if we're wearing them again.

Some fans on facebook were trying to get other fans to wear black. As far as I know it's business as usual for the team, just wearing red jersies

The only time I've ever seen a blackout work (I know there have been others) was when Tennessee wore black against us and kicked our asses.
I believe that was when Kiffin was there. I remember we wanted to wear black and Tennessee wear orange but Tennessee did the blackout instead.
Actually, now that I typed all of that out I don't think it was a true blackout. I think the team just surprised the fans and came out wearing black after practicing in regular jerseys?

We've never done a blackout against Florida. And ftr we're 3-1 in blackouts so not sure why people think it's some major curse
