Who's going to prevent it? One of the Alabama schools?

As a matter of fact, yes.

Ole Miss is going down hard to Auburn and State will have its second loss to Alabama.

Like Baylor-TCU?

If you can't appreciate 9-6, and the talent that was on the field that night, then I feel bad for you.

Think of all the offensive players in that game that are players in the NFL right now, and then think of how good those defenses had to be that night.

We can only hope your team is taking your new found success to their heads like their fans are. It'll get ugly quick if that's the case.

I'm not saying anything about the talent. It was a boring fricking game and you can't deny that.

Also, going from no touchdowns to a basketball score is a bit extreme, don't you think?

To people outside of MS. No. In SEC country it would rank high but Bama/Auburn would refuse to accept it.

Outside of SEC people wont give a shite. It would be like Arizona and Arizona St being 1 and 2. I wouldnt give a shite about that.

But to the state of Mississippi and OM/State fans by far the largest and most important game in both schools history. Would be forever talked about

Absolutely. 2 fanbases that hate each other aren't used to winning being 11-0 and putting it all on the line in the last week of the season. Would shut that state down in ways the iron bowl dreams of.

My fav stat: No team in NCAA history has ever went from unranked to #1 in 5 weeks.

Suck my beautiful, well manicured average dick.

I was told that both would lose last week as well.

The naysayers are Big Six shite flinging monkeys.

They feel threatened so their reflex is to deny what is happening to the bitter end.

So who makes it the Big Seven - Ole Miss or Mississippi State?

3 The Games of the 20th Century

3.1 1935 Notre Dame vs. Ohio State
3.2 1945 Army vs. Navy
3.3 1946 Army vs. Notre Dame
3.4 1966 Notre Dame vs. Michigan State
3.5 1967 UCLA vs. USC
3.6 1969 Texas vs. Arkansas
3.7 1971 Nebraska vs. Oklahoma
3.8 1987 Miami vs. Penn State
3.9 1991 Florida State vs. Miami
3.10 1993 Florida State vs. Notre Dame

4 The Games of the 21st Century

4.1 2006 Texas vs. USC
4.2 2006 Michigan vs. Ohio State
4.3 2011 LSU vs. Alabama

#1 vs #2 have happen many times in the regular season. I think a #1 vs #2 Egg bowl would earn the right to be placed in the Game of the Century category.

Hell, the entire state of South Carolina almost shutdown for when both South Carolina and Clemson were ranked in the top ten.

I can only dream of #1 vs #2, winner to conference championship game.

That literally can't happen with our rivalry.

Just the name "Egg Bowl" makes the game depreciate in value, regardless of the matchup.

Shitty rivalry is shitty.

Answer to dumb question is no.

LSU/Alabama actually being the two best teams in the country meeting in a regular season game makes it the real GotC.
