Hands down the best SEC football game I've ever seen. That and the USC-Texas Rose Bowl are the two best games I've ever seen.

Best games I've ever been to in person in terms of tense, crazy, back and forth games are 2012 Alabama-Georgia and 2013 Alabama-Auburn.

2012 Georgia was the best because the entire 2nd half was back and forth craziness with more insane plays that were immediately forgotten due to another insane play than any game I can remember. Gurley, Cooper, Lacey, Yeldon all making plays over and over again.

2013 Auburn clearly had the wild ending and was insanely tense, but it wasn't so much back and forth more than Auburn steadily creeping back into it. The 4th quarter of that game was insanity.

but we didn't lose that one so it doesn't count for them. Now if we had beat us then it would have been firmly placed at number 2 or 3 at worst.

My list of the Top 10 SEC games of the current decade (2010-2016):

1. Auburn 34, Alabama 28- 2013
2. Alabama 32, Georgia 28- 2012
3. Auburn 28, Alabama 27- 2010
4. Ole Miss 48, Alabama 43- 2015
5. Texas A&M 29, Alabama 24- 2012
6. Georgia 44, LSU 41- 2013
7. LSU 9, Alabama 6- 2011
8. Texas A&M 45, Tennessee 38- 2016
9. Arkansas 53, Ole Miss 52- 2015
10. Vanderbilt 45, Tennessee 34- 2016

I through Vandy in there to get them on the list. It was a great game, but it may have been graded on a curve since its Vandy.

The 14 Iron Bowl was better then the 13.

I almost included the '14 Iron Bowl on my list of best SEC games.... but the problem with that game is Bama played like garbage for nearly 3 quarters. Sure anytime two teams like Bama and Auburn scored a combined 100 points, the game is entertaining. But at times Bama played just horrible football.

And both defenses looked horrible.

The 2013 game was well played all around. Both teams were playing their A-game and it went down to the final :01

Honestly the 2009 Iron Bowl is one of the better Iron Bowls of all time. That was a great game despite the fact that Auburn didn't have a very good team that year. They played their best game that day and nearly derailed Bama's title hopes.

Wow, what a surprise. Everyone is upset the big game their team won wasn't named game of the decade. Or in the case of UGA fans, a game they lost.

Sign of a truly epic game.

Any time Auburin beats Bama it has to be the best it ever was. Just ask any of their fans.

People saying 9-6 was boring obviously didn't watch it and is just looking at the score. Two elite defenses.

Both defenses killed big offensive plays

Eric Reid robbing the ball from the Bama TE at the 2 yard line.

Bama intercepting Lee twice, forcing Jefferson to play

LSU running the freaking option in OT to get in FG range.

It was a crazy game. Both offenses couldn't do much. It was definitely not a boring game.

Sure, it was two great defenses but if you didnt have any skin in the game it just wasnt what it was hyped to be. This was the consensus around the nation on the sunday after.

I was at the game. It wasn't a good game. Over his career, Lee almost threw more interceptions against Bama than completions. Jefferson wasn't a good QB either. Bama had a decent QB, but no WRs.

2 great defenses shutting down 2 mediocre (at best) offenses does not make a great game. It makes a close game, but not a great game.
