Here's how I see it. If you start Hubenak then both of our 5 star Qbs would probably consider transferring. Although not sure about Murray due to him playing baseball.
If Kyle Allen is hurt you need to start Murray to see what he can do. Really all that's left to play for this season is bowl positioning. This also gives time for Kyle to physically and mentally get his shite together. Because they will be battling it out for the job next spring.

Just from watching their games, Murray would be shown every time Allen fricked up. And every time, you'd see Murray smiling like a smug little fricktard while one of the receivers would walk up to him and be like "you got this bro." He'd reply back like "I know" or some shite like that. There's clearly a divide in the locker room just based on the shite I've seen from their sidelines this season, going back as early as the Arizona State game.

Whoever starts will look like Tom Brady this weekend. Just ask UGA, Mizzou, and LSU.

Do you really think they'll both be there come Spring?
My gut tells me one or both wil be seeking a transfer depending upon how this plays out.
Part of me suspects this midseason "competition" is Sumlin's way of trying to keep them both on campus in much the same way Les did with Harris and Jennings last year.

sumlin made promises to murray's dad to keep him from texas and wrecking the 2015 recruiting class. sumlin/spav not living up to promises made and the murray clan is pissed off. murray turned down major football offers and potentially millions in the baseball draft to go to aTm based on sumlin promises.
I have seen murray play in the last 2 state championship games and he is dynamite. he is the best pure talent of the 3 qbs. murray is where Brandon Harris was last year. he got tossed into game without the proper practice and destined to fail. he needs a year to get prepared mentally and physically and he would be best of 3 but that's not what he was promised.
if the jc transfer guy starts, then both of the 5* guys will transfer. will spav is fired, then tate martell will de-commit. aTm is in deep shite.

If Sumlin hands the keys to Murray for the rest of the year after playing Allen hurt and then throwing him under the bus so his coaching staff doesn't look like the inept buffoons they are, then Allen should absolutely transfer. Dude has the skills to play on Sundays. He shouldn't waste his college career with such a shite staff.

This is what happens when a player is bigger than the program... Cry, complain and threaten to transfer and he gets his way.
OC is the problem, not Allen.

Tells me he's trying to quell the divide in the locker room by having a mid-season QB competition so when one of them wins he can tell everybody "there was a competition, this guy won, everybody needs to get behind him" moment to me.

Big Game Kevin is thinking about one thing and one thing only, and that's his continuing employment at Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University.

So, throw the kid against the two best defenses in the SECW, and when he can't beat them on his own - time to open it up?
I don't think the kid is the world beater he was being made out to be originally, but seriously - come ON. Alabama and Ole Miss have made a habit of making previously stellar looking QBs into has been's.

So, this is what this thing feels like:

Sumlin is clearly to blame.
Hubenak should be QB.
We will lose one, if not both of our 5 star QBs in the offseason and will still finish 9-3 this year.
Sumlin is not the coach for our program, and it's ridiculous how many people don't see this yet.

Can someone explain how this works to me?
I see it posted here a lot and I get that there is correlation, but that does not always equal causation.

I wonder who their next heisman candidate will be
